Where to find us during ONS 2026

Every other year, the energy world moves to Stavanger for a week. The 2024 edition of ONS gathered 72,676 visitors from around 100 countries and more than 1,100 exhibiting companies, and from August 24 to 27 it happens again, this time under the theme Courage.

We'll be all over it. Here's the full list of where we are and what we're up to, including the parts you don't need an ONS pass for.

The tent at Vågen

The exhibition halls require a ticket, but the evenings belong to everyone. From August 24 to 26, Stavanger harbour turns into ONS+, with pavilions, boats, debates, concerts and events open to the whole city.

This year, you'll find us in Tent 6 together with Equinor and Aibel. There's plenty happening throughout the week, but Monday is the big one for us.

Monday August 24

• Reversed Pitching (17:30 - 18:15)
  Ever wished you could flip the investor meeting? This time, the investors are the ones doing the pitching. Representatives from Skyfall Ventures, Equinor and Innovation Norway take the stage to explain how they think, what they look for and how they approach new opportunities. Then a jury of founders, together with the audience, gets to ask questions. Read more →

• Global Scale-up Showcase (19:00-20:00)
  The eight scale-ups we're bringing from Norway, Brazil, the UK and the US take the stage at ONS to present their business models, traction and growth plans. Read more →

• At 20:15 we switch gears. Terje Winterstø Røthing, known from Skambankt and Kaizers Orchestra, takes the stage as WINTERSTØ to close out the first night in Vågen.

Tuesdag August 25

• Humans or AI: Who understands you best? (17:00-18:00)
  A live AI avatar analyses a leader in real time, before the session opens into a discussion on human intelligence, artificial intelligence and what will shape the leadership skills of the future. Read more →

Wednesday August 26

• Offshore Norge: The Big Energy Debate (17:00-18:00)
  Norway's leading energy politicians take the stage to debate what kind of energy nation Norway should be in the future, what the Norwegian continental shelf should look like in 2050, and how new value chains can be built along the coast. Read more →

The Scale-Up Pitch Competition

The Scale-Ups venue in Hall 4 brings together ambitious growth companies looking to scale, challenge established thinking and help shape the future of energy.

And twice during the week, it gets competitive. The Scale-Up Pitch Competition returns in cooperation with Innovation Dock, with eight shortlisted companies selected to pitch live across two sessions in front of a jury and audience. Eight startups from four countries

Through our Startup Exchange program, we're bringing eight promising startups from the US, the UK, Brazil and Norway to Stavanger. The eight arrive on Sunday August 23, and you can catch them pitching in the tent on Monday evening. Read all about them here.
